Job description

24/7 Security has a vacancy for a Control Room Manager with extensive experience within the Security Environment. The Control Room Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of management within the control room. This person will be responsible for identifying, assessing and mitigating risks to ensure the safety and security of the controlroom operations. This person will be based at the Head Office at 8 Philo Road, Wynberg, Sandton:

 

The following criteria will be our basis for selection, your application will not be considered if you do not have all:

Qualifications:

Valid Grade A PSIRA qualification

Matric or tertiary qualification

5-8 years of Control Room Security management experience preferably in the security sector

3-5 years of Remote Site Monitoring management experience

3-5 years of internal and external investigation experience

2 years’ experience in IP networks

2 years of SQL experience and database integration experience

Advanced CCTV/Listener management preferably in a control room or similar environment

Advanced listener integration experience

Advanced systems knowledge of Dahua, Hikvision, and Vumacam.

Computer literate (i.e. advanced knowledge in excel, MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook)

Disciplined, focused, and have strong work ethics

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong client liaison and customer relations skills

Excellent and effective communication skills (verbal and written)

Valid driving license & own vehicle
