Main Purpose of Role

Successfully manage and execute the design from brief to final artwork for all digital and print content across the business.

Be creative, adaptable to trends and conceptualise original ideas.

Set up basic brochure ware or collateral to more complicated design such as web banners, long brochures and be able to edit video content. The role will include design of social media posts and other digital collateral.

Design of internal collateral to communicate company culture and values

Set up design of email communication to be sent out internally or externally to clients.

 

Design and set up of PowerPoint Presentations, proposals and application forms (and other company collateral) in the company’s corporate Identity

 

Have a strong, well-rounded portfolio that showcases your individual design aesthetic.

 

As part of the marketing team the candidate will be required to assist as and when required at events.

Required Minimum Education / Training

 

Grade 12

 

Diploma in Graphic / Web design

 

Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)

Proficient in MS Office Packages (especially PowerPoint)

 

Social Media Proficiency (Facebook)

 

CMS (Content Management System) proficiency (DNN is a plus)

 

HTML & CSS knowledge

 

Required Minimum Work Experience

 

3 – 5 years’ experience in developing, executing and managing graphic communication and social media platforms, and websites

3 – 5 years’ experience within a Graphic/Web/Design environment

Desired Skills:

Be a skilled user of design software such as

Good communication skills to accurately convey your Adobe Illustrator

Photoshop and lnDesign.

2 to 5 years
